'One of my favorite things about my V1 Basilisk was the adjustable scroll wheel, since I prefer non-smooth scrolling, I like to feel each turn... Not sure why they removed it in this base model since I thought that was the stand-out feature of the "Basilisk" line
The Ultimate is also on sale on Best Buy though... might grab it. Sure Razer isnt the best, but they are usually cheaper than they're counter parts, or at least have more sales, and I like their CHroma Studio features and how it ties to certain games/Hue setup

This mouse is great, avoid the hype of more expensive, I think I typically game in like warzone with 1200 or 1600 dpi, the max available doesn't make sense. Good battery life, I also only use it at 2.4 ghz to avoid lag (BT would not be ideal for gaming ).
