I don't recommend this mouse. My first one had poor battery life and connectivity using the USB dongle. Second one had battery contact issues that required me to constantly adjust the battery.
I have been using this mouse for slightly over half a year, and am happy with it in terms of how it feels. I previously was using Logitech G502 and Logitech MX518 mice, but wanted a wireless mouse, and after trying multiple mice, am happy to say that the Razer Basilisk X Hyperspeed is the closest I've found to those two mice.
That said, I do agree with discoattheprom, who stated:

Battery life isn't the best. Furthermore, I lose connectivity approximately once a week, and the quickest way to solve it is to turn off the mouse using the switch on its underside, and then turning it back on. Fortunately, I have yet to lose connectivity while gaming.
I would highly recommend this mouse for anyone who wants a mouse with adjustable DPI without having to install software.I have 3 of them and I have been using them daily for over a year with no issues.
Battery life is good, I get weeks of usage on a rechargeable AA.
It is good sized mouse similar in feel to the Logitech g502.

I had this mouse for about a year and it developed the double click issue. I tried to RMA, but Razer has a long list of things they want, including a video of you using the mouse, for RMA. They also "don't get" attachments, asking you to resend. After 3 emails, I realized that what I was dealing with was tactics to frustrate you and waste your time, thus making it not worth pursuing the RMA.
I can be understanding, even well made things will have some examples that fail. Razer has made the choice to screw you around when you request an RMA, and it is the reason my first Razer product, this mouse, will also be my last.

great connectivity. battery life is poor. been using for over a year.. maybe 2? battery life i dont care though i have a steady supply of rechargeable batteries. i prefer that over the mice that are rechargeable so you must use it wired when battery runs out

Couple things to note:
1.) I have this mouse and it has poor battery life and has developed a double clicking issue
2.) Razer support is absolutely terrible. They make you send not one but multiple videos showing the issue over and over. only to allow you to get it replaced by sending it it and living without a replacement mouse until they determine its broken and months later down the line actually replace it.
3.) This mouse is almost ALWAYS listed between $30-$35
4.) This is a Staff pick. Meaning Slickdeals as a company is being paid to post this non-deal and advertise it. It happens literally ever 2 months or so.
This post is an advertisement, not a slick deal.

Never knew about staff deal until this comment. And I've been using slickdeals for years. Thanks!
For what it's worth, I've been using one of these for nearly two months now and have had zero issues. I might be the exception, but just wanted to share my experience.

Easy way to lose a customer for life over $50 mouse. Esp when you sell pcs for 2k+ dollars.
Connectivity issues and eats batteries. Also middle mouse button doesn't work. Razer also has the worst customer service. Razer wants use to upload videos to YouTube, lol why?? because they think we're lying about a 30 dollar mouse??, Razer can piss off. Never buying their products again. Rather pay more and get the g502 wireless and not have to deal with the horrible support

Razor mouse is sub par in most users experiences. $35 is cheap-ish. Comes with iffy quality and customer service. Deal is meh at best. Can't remember the the last razor product I bought that I said, worth the premium.
Slickdeals used to be reliable when I joined. Community was solid, staff posted trust worthy items and deals.
After the HP tablet fiasco, community went down hill. Staff continue to promote junky products. SD definitely has earned right to turn a profit, but have some respect for the users time and money.
