This is for new member only, and you get the $45 at the cs desk at time of activation. Take a screenshot or printout of activation code and gc code.

New member = not a member within last 6 months. A way to bypass this is alternate between yourself and significant other/family member as primary and use a different email.

anyway, can we still use our expired account email for new sams sign up? i am talking about 3 years expired. will they still honor it? in the old days, i had to call in to request them for the old account removal before i could use my email again for the new customer signup.

To get this deal you would have to end your current membership, not sure if you can do online or if it has to be in store.
Why so many memberships so far this year?
To get this deal you would have to use a different email or someone else that has not been a member in the last 6 months

Thanks for the update OP. I see that this offer expires end of July, while the last one expired end of June. The last one there was a way to just get the offer in store (for those who are hesitant about signing up and not getting the card -- as you can basically pay $45 in store and get $45 gift card immediately). Don't see that option here (I think it was sourced from Valpak). If someone has that version of the offer than you can print and take, please share.

I went to the Sam's club customer service but was informed that this offer is only for new customers or those who have not been members for atleast 6 months. My current membership expires in couple of weeks and they said they cannot extend this offer for my membership renewal. Bummer!

So you just have to sign up online by July 31, right? Then you could actually go into the club and get your new card and shop for the first time a few weeks later and get this deal, correct? Or do you have to go in store by July 31?
