There are so many review sites, each with their own opinion. If I were in the market today, I'd go to https://www.scarbir.com/truewireless and click on the cheaper 5 star earbuds. Then click on the Amazon link on each review to see if it's still available and its price. Just going through that exercise, I'd consider the Sound Peats TrueAir 2 ($25), the Edifier TWS1 PRO ($40), or the Earfun Free 2 ($40).

That doesn't mean that you wouldn't be perfectly satisfied with the $20 headphones listed here ... there's no way to know without trying it out yourself.

We bought three pairs of these at christmas, and had to return them all. They had a hard time connecting, and the quality was low.

Watch out, the 3 cheapest options use a micro-USB charger. Of course they're $20 true wireless earbuds so that's not the worst thing in the world but I for one refuse to let micro USB cables back into my life.

Watch out, the 3 cheapest options use a micro-USB charger. Of course they're $20 true wireless earbuds so that's not the worst thing in the world but I for one refuse to let micro USB cables back into my life.

Exact reason I just bought the Anker Q30s instead of the Q20s. Let microusb die please.

I use these for when I am at my desk some music and podcasts while killing my eyes with blue light. They are good sounding for the price point. Don't think you would be upset with paying $20 for solid pair. I don't think these are good rugged use headphones like how Apple built the AirPods. And also you can only use the right headphone for single mode listening.
