How many nits?

Dell uses 2 different panels. I am pretty sure this is the lower 250 nits, or they would have advertised the better one Frown Other than that, it seems like a solid machine, but check the reviews on the hinges. They have had problems in the past with them breaking, especially on the flip/ touch screen versions

Here is one review: Cons: touch screen is not useful, it would better to replace touch screen with higher color (RGB) screen. Fan noise is a little loud.

Some AMEX Cardholders have a $120 off $600 offer, making this deal 580 plus tax. Seriously thinking about this now. Hmmmmmm

Man, if they could discount little bit more off this lappy, I would be on it so fast. With taxes, its over 7 bills...kinda hard to pull the trigger. Wished I had AMEX..damn.

Looks like an upgraded version of the Inspiron linked below. If I hadn't already bought that one, would've picked this one up instead.

I jumped on it but then realized in time that 5700U is still Zen2 based. Just in time so I was able to cancel and avoid Dell restocking fee

Seriously 250 nits just doesn't cut it these days....less than 300 is a non- starter for me when looking at laptops.

I'm unfamiliar with the changes in computers and laptops in these last couple of years. I would like to learn. Does that make it difficult to run certain software or games?

Thanks, I was just going to ask this. I think I'll just wait till black Friday and see what comes along. Perhaps Costco might have something decent, as well.
