Same, I love my The Rag Company towels.

I have these - I've washed them 3-4 times and they work very well on cars (removing wax, buffing, etc).
However, they tend to 'grab' my skin when they get calloused or dry. They wouldn't be my first (or second) choice for a gym towel.
