Unlike the Jackery units that only have 500 lifecycles, this uses LiFePO4 cells that last 2000 lifecycles. The design and specs appear to be very similar to recent $200 Golabs 299Wh unit.

Anyone have any thoughts on this? I'm not too experienced in the battery game, but it's nice to see Tenergy is an actual company

Depends on your use case. I personally look for Lifepo4 based banks because I want one that lasts years. I hate those old lead acid car jumpstarter units and uninterruptible power supplies that only last only 2-3 years before needing replacement. Where lead acid was rated for 200 cycles, common lithium ion for 500, Lifepo4 lithium is 2000, at nearly the same cost.

I found much technical insight on Hobotech and Will Prowse Youtube channels, though there are many others.

Sounds good appreciate it. I live in a hurricane area so I was looking for something like this to possibly hold me over for a day on keeping my devices charged

Any idea if the 12v is two way? I have a 12v lifepo4 pack that would be nice to extend the storage capacity of this.

It has one input port that the pix have it hooked up to a solar panel or your car's cigarette lighter plug.

So yea, you should be able to just leave the two linked that way for extended run time.

Looks like there are quite a few solar generator deals for Prime Day. Do you think this one offers the most bang for the buck?

Just looking for something to keep in the trailer to power an ice maker and other small appliances/gadgets. I have a normal gas generator but also have a solar setup to charge my batteries. My goal is to try and use the gas generator as little as possible...

The 299 Wh GOLABS PowerStation that often goes on sale for $200 does 300 watts while this only does 200 watts. This one might be nice if you want something slightly smaller and don't need as much power.

FYI: Hobotech was only able to push the Golabs to 275 watts AC output, with the sine wave starting to collapse at 200 watts.

Until a 3rd party reviewer precisely puts an AC load, I have no idea if the Tenergy will perform the better or same or worse to the manufacture specs. (200w continuous 400w surge)

Dang, got all excited until I saw 400w peak. Hoping to find something to keep my furnace going an extra couple hours in the event of a power outage but I'd need something with 1200w peak and probably 600w sustained.

check the label in/on your fridge, 120V at how many amps? That should roughly equal your power draw while running

newer ones are often between 1.5 - 2A it seems. so 180-240W on 120V
