This is cheaper than the packets! I do like that I can add a few more calories into the powdered stuff by using milk, but this is too convenient to pass up on. This is all I can get my undeweight 10yo to have for breakfast in the morning.

It's actually decent for a "meal" before the gym if you're short on time for food or don't want anything heavy. It has the protein, carbs, and some sugar before the workout but I'd wait at least 30 minutes unless you want to cough up chocolate lol. And no, sugar isn't going to kill you. Have you seen football players that have Gatorade and end up just fine?

I drink 1/2 bottle of this after working out, diluted 1:1 with unsweetened almond milk. It's still plenty chocolate tasting for me, with 1/2 the sugar.
