Get a Note 20 or Note 20 Ultra assuming you must have an Spen. Could also get the S21 Ultra which is Spen compatible.

A little concerned about that screen resolution (1280 x 720), but otherwise the specs look great.

Yea, for an extra $100 I think the specs are a decent jump to the A52. I'm going to put a deal alert on for it.

The One 5G Ace is available for $349 and has the same Snapdragon CPU, same storage amount, an extra 2GB of ram, a higher res 1080p screen (LCD), and a more reliable rear-mounted FP sensor. On the flip side the Moto has lower quality cameras and a worse update support.

1. If you have Ting, the Motorola One Ave 5G is $329 from Ting and also comes with a $60 account credit for Ting users.
2. That being said, I currently have a Motorola X4 which I was initially quite happy with, but less than two years in, the charging port is screwed up and I can only slow charge, and both the volume up and power buttons are broken, meaning I can't restart the phone and using it is a pain. Based on that and reading that Motorola has these issues across phone platforms, I am leaning towards the A42.

Samsung definitely has better build quality. Besides that there's usually better case options and replacement part availability than Moto phones. You'll definitely get more OS updates from Samsung than from Moto.
