I got a pack of these about 6 months ago and they wouldn't work in most things. We used them in electric candles for about 2 months, then they stopped working in those as well. I e-recycled them.
are we still doing eneloop or bust?
Unless they are Made in Japan then they are not made by FDK (the company that makes eneloop, fujitsu, Ladda, etc). However I am not saying Amazon are bad but they are not comparable in quality to those but if they are close then who cares. I will say I have MIJ eneloops, energizer, fujitsu, amazon (old days) and some are going on 10 years strong. I haven't had a MIC Amazon go south yet but they def run higher internal resistance and don't hold charge as well but for non critical apps and the price they are a great value. The Amazon C-cells are def a bust. No where near nominal charge and voltage profile (sag) bad. I use AA w/ adapter which is not ideal, but eh. For the price/quality/nominal charge I favor the Ikea as #1.

EBL, tenergy, any of the other off brands have all had 50% or more failure rate (all MIC). So I will not be buying them again.

I use these interchangeably with actual Eneloop-branded AAs, and have been perfectly happy with the quality. I'm using them regularly for Xbox controllers and with a D-cell adapter for an automatic cat-feeder. As far as I can tell, they're basically the same spec as older Eneloop manufacturing process, so the power retention/heat thresholds are along those lines. Assuming these are the same (which they appear to be), I'd def recommend them at this price.

I have a ton of the AmazonBasics AA and AAA batteries, and all of mine work fine. I have some Ikea Lada as well, and they seem equivalent, although I'm not timing the runtime with a stopwatch. However, the AAs I have are the 2400mah ones, not the ones in the deal above:

Been running these in all my cellular trail-cams for about 1 1/2 years. Tight squeeze cuz they're a little bigger than most but they've been performing just fine.

According to CCC, this would be an all time low price by a few cents. I also have never had an issue with any Amazon batteries. In for 1 because of kids…

subscribe and save for rechargeable batteries? Almost like they're telling you the product will fail and you'll need to keep buying them

Comparing them to Eneloops is unfair. However. They do work quite well given their price. However in my experience, they self discharge must faster than name brand batteries and I've had a few go totally dead. Granted, the failures may have been from abuse as I use them in trail cameras which are subject to below freezing temps, rain, humidity, and heat. These are ideal for remotes and kids toys in my opinion.

Has been disappointed with these. Mostly what others have been saying. Either they don't work, self discharges or doesn't hold the power it says it does.
