These batteries are crap. They self discharge very fast, so you can never charge them and store them

have bought these multiple times now, but never again. they don't store well and frequently fail within a year. EBLs and Eneloops for me, worth the extra.

Totally agree with your comment. I just wish they were better.

These are terrible batteries based from my experience. I have been buying ikea ones and they are far more reliable than this one. The amazon ones doesn't hold charge that long.

all true, but just buy another pkg a year later and put all your dead ones from that initial sale in the pack and keep the new ones, then free return it and get full refund. i won't tolerate high rechargeable's that last just one or two recharges. done.

Would not recommend buying battery off Amazon. Many arrived dead even though it's sealed. I assumed it's been in the storage for a while .

Terrible batteries.

If you have an IKEA near you, I recommend their LADDA 1900. The LADDA 2450s are slightly larger and won't fit in tighter battery compartments. The 2450s also didn't hold a charge for long. I suspect they're meant for high current and not continuous draw, so unless you need the high current, I'd recommend the 1900s over the 2450s.

I consider these to be good value batteries. They're definitely not the highest quality but they're a fraction the price of most decent options.

It varies between China and Malaysia.

Eneloops are definitely the best quality, but they're substantially more expensive. EBLs are garbage. Their ratings are outright fraudulent. I tested the 2500mAh version and they're only about 1850mAh. At least the Amazon Basics come close to (or exceed) their ratings.

Amazon Basics used to sell Japanese cells. Now you have to get the IKEA Ladda for that.

I bought a ton of these for the smart lock. Fresh charge and they are at 80%. Once it get freezing temps out, the batteries last as week and need to change them constantly. Also, they are a tad bigger than alkaline batteries and can't fit in some devices

I bought and returned these a while ago. They are not the standard AA size. They're slightly more round and slightly shorter than your typical AA. I found I had quite a few devices where they wouldn't fit or wouldn't make contact to actually work in the device. Recommend not getting these.

Ikea LADDA batteries are rebranded eneloops so they're a great deal. AmazonBasics used to be rewrapped eneloops iirc but they've since switched to a different provider. Avoid the ones in the deal.

I have bought the 2000 AA many times, used to be Japan made. Not anymore, but I haven't had any problems and the test pretty much 2000mah. I'm happy with them.
