I don't understand this....the wattages in the 3000 series laptops absolutely suck for most laptops. A Max-P 2060 beats the 3060 in the Asus and Acer laptops with 4 core i7s. You compare price before anything. If a 2080 super laptop can be had for 1500 and it beats a low wattage 1750+ 3070 model why can't I compare them? That's nonsense.

A lot of these "outlet models" from "ChinaDirect" go for extremely high prices though you can buy 10 of them for $400-500 each. I don't care for the brand but even the GFX card in a laptop without proper cooling and ventilation will ultimately overheat and create serious issues with extended use.

Also chipset compatibility with W10 and on other platforms may deliver unwanted results when upgrading or using with other software.

Its less about models and trims at the higher end laptop gpus and more about power draw which is all over the place

I think it depends model to model as there isn't a clear cut way to see the performance as the TDP and boost is tweaked by makers and build. I've seen a 3070 destroy 2080s but it has be a maximum tdp one, many of the 3000 series on laptops seems gimped though. I've seen benchmarks with newer laptops with a 3060 and it's not even better then my rtx 2060 gateway but from a price perspective this is amazing deal as most laptops in the range has 2070, 3060, and 2060 cards.

i'm not interested in this brand. want something like this in slimmer 14" but i guess it's impossible to have such hardware 8 core spu and dedicated gpu in a slim laptop.
