Thanks, I saw that review along with others and they are all positive. Just asking if any SD users have had any personal experiences or recommendations.

FYI, the Aukey line was banned from Amazon for false reviews. With that said I have their mirror dash cam. Have been using it for a couple of months now. I'm satisfied with it. Have some nit design complaints but overall a good product.

Yup, I noticed that and I was one of the bribed buyers to leave a review.. Left an honest positive review, but never received the promised gc. Def shady business... But the products seem to be decent so far.
Seems like a good deal...does anyone have experience with this model or have any comparable recommendations?
I've had this one in my car for 3 years, really reliable and LOVE the sticky mount instead of those suction cup ones that kept falling off. Video quality is really clear. But it is kind of lacking when it comes to features. It doesn't have wireless connectivity so you have to pull the sd card out to get videos out, unlike some of the newer ones where you can download directly to your phone.
Price is good for a basic dash cam that works well. I've had this one for a couple years now and it's saved me. Supercapacitor makes all the difference if you live somewhere the summers get especially hot.
Shady review practices aside, the product is good. But more importantly, this is a great price for this model.
Amazon delisted Aukey for playing fake review games for years. SD is in bed with them.
That said, this is a solid unit with a 2-year warranty. However, it is VERY OLD.
can't be for years... I just bought this from Amazon in Feb 2021. I can't find Aukey on Amazon now. The ban must be recent. I wonder why they did it. I mean the product is fine. They don't have to bribe anyone for fake reviews.

This is my first dashcam so I have no others to compare with. Video clips are great. However, I find the recorded sound very weak/low. I have to crank up the volume level all the way to 80% on my computer to hear my radio or conversation in the car. At that same volume level (80%), all other sound on my PC will be extremely loud. I've watched dashcam clips on YouTube and Reddit and they're all louder than mine. I wonder if I got a lemon.

Good to know. I've had mine set up to run without sound this whole time, so I don't have any reference for that.
Have 2 for rear dashcams. Work great until the internal coin battery dies. It keeps the date/time setting when the cam isn't powered. It's soldered to the board, so once it dies you can request a warranty replacement or just chuck it. If you're really adventurous you can replace the battery yourself with some soldering skills.

I've had several of these. They work well until the battery for settings dies, but that's usually a couple if years
Keeypon appears to be a subsidiary of Aukey.
I used PayPal just fine only a moment ago.
