This is not to be confused with Legion 7 series Laptop. This model was announced back in mid 2020 with Ryzen 4000H and RTX 2000 series but never got released. This is the 2021 iteration of that Laptop and similar to Asus Zephyrus G15 series which offers reasonable gaming performance while being relatively slim and lightweight compared to other gaming Laptops. However, this has 100W TGP for the RTX card. Also, comes with Nvidia Advanced Optimus which can allow the laptop display to be directly connected to the dedicated Nvidia Card. That's why the Laptop display has G-Sync, only possible if the display can be connected directly to Nvidia GPU.

And there are good cashback sites providing 10% back, starting with 'R' from Lenovo site. I think just $34 extra + 10% Cashback and getting 1TB SSD...go for the one from Lenovo site.

I dunno, by all accounts the new Lenovo Legion 5 feels pretty chintzy and cheap with flexing all over the place. Might be better on the Pro or the 7, though.

The G15 is $200 cheaper than this assuming you don't have 5% cash back from a credit card or $120 back from Amex. If you have either of those it is even cheaper. The Lenovo isn't that much better.

Also if you do buy the Lenovo if you have a perks at work account it brings the price down to $1519.99

This is a very good deal for a slimmer than usual gaming Lenovo. Too bad it's out of my budget but a very good deal!

Have an example? 5800h + 3070 for 1500 would be a great deal. The only one 1 see if the Walmart in-store L5 Pro but that one is hard to find.
