pinecil comes with only 1 tip and no power supply and is USB C.

Now that the Pinecil is in stock at half the price, the T100 clones are a lot less appealing. For ~$60 shipped you can get the Pinecil [pine64.com] with 5 tips [pine64.com] (or save $25 if you don't need the extra tips). Since the Pinecil has USB-C AND a barrel jack, you don't have to deal with any adapter nonsense.

Just be warned that the Pinecils do ship from China (unless something has changed). I ordered when it was in stock on April 18, and didn't receive it until May 13th.

I bought one recently on woot for 59.99 and I even made a dyi power cord to use with a pd power bank to make this iron portable. This is a great price.

Damn this is amazing. I've had the ts100 on my wishlist for the last year can't believe this model is a fraction of the price, does not use custom expensive tips like the TS80 and uses usbc. In for one

I used this iron today to replace potentiometers on two of my Xbox controllers that were drifting, had temp set between 375 and 380, to desolder and solder the old and new pots. This iron is awesome, I even made an adapter for it to use with a power bank. Got it for around 60$ on woot a few months ago.

My first Pinecil is still stuck in USPS / Chicago ISC, after ordering around that same time. If you buy a Pinecil, pay for the courier shipping it's 10 bucks more, but my order made it in 3 days ( 3-6 is what I was quoted)
