Be advised. 18' reach means it's about 16' long. Completely vertical. I have the heavy duty 17' and it can't reach my 14' header beams in my loft.
Ok price. Slickdeals search shows this was on sale for $80-90 multiple times.
This is not an 18' ladder. It measures 14'10" and the 18' is the reach height. That should be false advertising.

This seems to be the low sales price...probably won't go lower unless they clearance for a future new model. The 375lb version has all but replaced my extension ladder.

I should clarify: I have the old 375lb version, which is more similar in design to the current 300lb model, the one linked above. It sold for sub-$100 on Black Friday a few years ago.

The new 375lb ladder has a top shelf and an increased price tag. I'm not sure there is much value in the extra 75lb capacity if you don't need it.

Thanks OP. I've been on the lookout to replace my old step ladder that likes to dance around when I'm on it. Got to the point where I don't trust it. And my extension ladder is getting a bit long in the tooth as well. I'd been eyeing these, but wanted to see it on sale. Grabbed one of these and will pick it up tonight. Thanks!

Now that I look, you're right. I was confusing this with the 22 foot.

22foot ladder was on sale for 149 for quite a few months. I checked out my neighbor's and the system and build was very good, however felt it was kind of heavy and un-wieldy.
I figured 18foot reach is probably what one would want for most uses around the house. So am waiting for a good deal on 18foot. (I do have 20ft ceilings but I think am OK).

They're very heavy and can get a finger pinched (or worse) if you're not very alert.

Little giant makes like a 6 foot ladder with the step stool on top. Pretty thin legs, very light weight...375lb rating. Costs a fortune but it's sweet.

I don't even hang this on the wall because it's so heavy. I'm in my thirties and weight left four days a week and I can still tell you it's heavy. Just keep that in mind if you're getting this for somebody who might be a little older

Costco deal with wheels was better option imo, but membership required.
