In my opinion this Android OS is the worst thing that ever happens to TV. Can't justify canceling my 55 inch from Amazon for this.

Does anyone have an idea how this one compares to the Hisense U8G?
I ordered it a couple days ago and wonder if I should cancel. The U8G has 5" more but is 3x the price and they seem fairly similar.
Unfortunately rtings compare (link [rtings.com]) is only for early access at the moment

Series 6 is when TCL started really improving. I would say this over the series 4 but that's just opinion.

I got a 65 inch hinese on black friday last year for 250$. Great tv especially for the price.. but i definitely needed a 4k fire stick. The tv functioned very slow and sometimes would freeze even after a few days of having it. Bought a firestick and its perfect nowm

I've never owned an Android TV, and I'm wondering if the inputs are controllable from Android. Could I write an Android program that would let me change the input (switch from one hdmi in to another).
