Of course it will perform a bit better, but I would be amazed if you can piece it together for less than twice the $830 price possible here
Also make sure you are pricing an itx board and compact psu for the case

Then split the payments to get two AMEX '120 off 599' offers if possible.
These will make this item to be literally $828 before tax.
I don't think even Black Friday can beat this deal.
This is the best laptop with RTX3060 (115W) you can get at this money. The screen and CPU are also nicer than many RTX3060 laptops at the current market.

Desktop GPU's outmuscle laptop GPU's easily.
Plus, SFFPC can be very portable if you go 6 Liters or smaller. For example, Skyreach 4 Mini with a Portable 15 inch monitor.
Granted, a gaming laptop is still MORE portable, but loses out on upgradeability, has heat problems, the plastic and stuff means stuff won't last long, and the performance difference is noticeable. You're also not tied down to a specific resolution or monitor. If one part breaks, just swap it. With this, if screen is dead, then there's little you can do.
The Skyreach build is too niche in itself. The GPU length is very limited to get anything worthy, and less cables is always better.
People replace screens all the time in laptop builds.

Wasn't that for Intel only?
