If no gaming strongly consider the Sony. Slightly better brightness and motion processing between the two.

The Sony is 120Hz but yeah it doesn't have HDMI 2.1 or VRR.... on the fence... I went ahead and ordered the LG too just so I can lock in the price and cancel later once I make up my mind... a true SDer here Big Grin

The prime day sony is only a 60 hz. Go with this if you want to get that 120 fps action.

Costco is $1850, if you don't have a membership it's $120 which gets you 2% cb and discover has %5 cb right now too at wholesale clubs. Costco includes the protection plan too. An alternative to consider!

I bought this TV to go with my 3090 that I was lucky enough to get. The picture quality is amazing. Blacks are super black, and whites are super white. HDR looks great and G sync works well.

It does 120, but only in 1080 according to rtings. The LG will do 4k at 120. You made the proper call though... side by side comparison!

I was surprised myself. I just thought of trying my luck to see how A8h look in real but there was a prime deal in the store and the sales rep was amazing he said if i can take the tv with me right now he can give the tv for 1.6k+taxes. I explained him that i already got it along with the amazon rewards which gave me 150 back as well but this was 2021 model and has hdmi 2.1 +vrr so I kinda bought it there! Have to cancel the A8H still. I still honestly don't know how they can give such a low price the store seemed legit cos its an authorized dealer. So, maybe just was in the right place at the right time. He also said the last A8h he sold this year for around 1.2k i don't know how far that was true but the prices that they have i haven't seen it anywhere else.
