These "surprise" toys are an insane amount of plastic waste, not to mention all the wrapping. For the most part, the little toys are about what you would expect from the coin vending machine and will be lost/tossed out within a couple days. Please consider that.

I used to think that about a lot of the small blind bag toys. I refused to buy Shopkins for that very reason. But I eventually gave in and they're better quality than vending machine toys. And my kids actually loved collecting and they've mostly kept up with them. However, this is actually a plush toy (this particular one looks to be pretty big). Whether or not all the little surprises that come with it get lost or thrown away is a different question, though Smilie

I get what you're saying (especially with all the packaging). I just wanted to chime in to say this isn't exactly what you're describing.
