This 4500 sq ft / 50 pint dehumidifier is the same price as their lower capacity 3000 sq ft / 35 pint model.
The "pint" refers to the amount of water it can dehumidify. It does not refer to the size of the reservoir. This model does not have a pump so you have to manually drain the reservoir or let it gravity feed with the hose.
Midea is the OEM who makes a number of these dehumidifiers sold under different brand names on Amazon.
$224 is the average price according to 3C. $189 would be a 6 month low.

That might be fine if you live near a Menard's. But the closest one is 1000 miles from me. The "rebate" is in the form of a B&M store credit which is not accepted online. With shipping, the 50 pint with pump would cost me $28 more at Menard's and I don't really need the pump.
With a poor reseller ratings, I don't much value in that 3 year warranty. Pelonis' website list the warranty as 1 year. Although they may have a different 3 year warranty model for Menard's.
Thanks for the tip anyway. It was worth checking out.

It is not worth it if you are not in the area with a store around. The 3-year warranty is from manufacturer (Midea) as described in the manual:
https://hw.menardc.com/main/items...Manual.
So essentially, it is serviced by the same people as the Midea model but with a longer warranty. Besides the 11% rebate from Menards, I also get $25 rebate from the utility company with either the Pelonis or Midea model.
