I was offered another 3 months free, after my 3 months ran out and I didn't take the offer. Coffee is either warm, or the flavor I want is out, or the coffee tastes old or watered down ,or I have to wait in line for extra sugar cuz they don't have it out at my location. It's not worth it even though it's free.

It's not that bad. You can use it to get other self-serving juices too if you don't want coffee. Honestly I feel bad without paying for all the drinks for 3 months, I might just keep the subscription to help keep the restaurant in business.

I don't mind their iced coffee either. On the other hand everything on the menu is overpriced it's hard to justify anything without at least 30% off. They seem to be making good amount of money instead.

My local panera is so rich they keep the fireplace running even when it's 90F outside.

I think Panera coffee is much better than that over-roasted stuff from SB.

SB is all about its environment. The inside of Starbucks is pretty cozy for a chain compared to Peets and others. I also like their Peppermint flavor.

I've found you acquire a taste/preference for whatever roast/blend you drink frequently. I used to dislike Starbucks, but developed a taste for it. Also used to dislike Dunkin, but it was most convenient when I went into the office, and developed a tolerance to it. Since subscribing to Panera and drinking it every day, I've developed a preference for it and dislike all the coffee I have stashed at home. The subscription is great and the coffee is good when you acquire a liking to it

Looks like the gravy train has ended for those who have been getting repeatedly extended over the past year+. I just canceled again and this time I was not offered any free extension. All free things eventually come to a close.

Yup. I got no offers when I canceled the other day. But today, in my email, I got the 3 more months offer. So I'm back on the gravy train! :-)
