whats a better alternative? I was going to get the costco ones, but i hate socks that make your feet feel like they are on fire.

FYI, the terry socks are also the same price and in my experience are a bit more heavier weight. Also, I own these socks and they're good for the price. The one weird thing about the sock is the back above the heel has extra fabric so that you have a 'pull' to grab onto on the back. I don't hate it, it's just not a sock design I've ever seen before.

They used to be. The newer ones seem different and lower quality. I have both old and new. I'm done with puma socks now.

I bought both Champion and Puma socks at Costco and the Pumas held up way better than the champion brand. This price is a few dollars cheaper than the sale price for Puma's at Costco
