Just a warning, these containers work with the classic Vitamix blenders only! Will not work with Ascent or Venturist blenders.

I beat the hell of out my Vitamix daily blending all sorts of shit and it takes it like a tank, to me its money well spent. Id rather one Vitamix than 10 black and deckers.

Whats the return policy on woot like? I just got a vitamix 5200 that hasn't shipped yet, and I don't know if the default container is good enough to grind seeds.

Yeah, Woot has never had a search. That was fine back when they actually only sold one thing a day (or five things), but kind of ridiculous now.

My guess is there's no search on Woot so you're forced to go through all the crap for sale.

If you need a search you can use a 3rd party site like Woot Stalker (wootstalker.com).

Oh em gee. Less than 1 hour of work for a blender jar. What a travesty.

I had a $75.00 voucher from vitamix because of some class action lawsuit. In September last year Vitamix came out with about 30% off on its accessories. This jar was like $144 originally and after 30% off it came down to $100 something. I was then able to use the $75.00 voucher towards this purchase making this jar a $30 after taxes. This was the best deal

I believe years ago this jar used to be $75 but they then jacked up the prices to $145. It's definitely not worth to pay more than $30 for plastic but you are essentially paying for the engineered blade.

What kind of warranty applies to Vitamix components bought from elsewhere
