This is not the XL model is the standard model. The Listing and description was for the XL, but the models they listed weren't the XL model. Woot has since updated the descriptions to be accurate description.

The description on the the front page deal needs to be updated so its accurate product description. As right now still reflects the incorrect info.

Since this is electric, how is this any different than cooking a burger on a pan? Besides the grill marks.

I think this was new $129 or $139 at Costco. Either way it chips from what I've read and since it's "non toxic" Ninja wouldn't fix it.

There's iron grill grate insert. It's more like oven cooking a burger but not. The burgers are great that come out of it. 7 min and they're great.

Yes, everything is dishwasher safe and no little weird parts or nooks and crannies. Even the smoke filter is dishwasher safe.

In a pan, stuff cooks in its own juices and fat. In this, it drains continually, plus there is a high-speed fan causing convection action. Finally, it's less smoky because it's enclosed with a smoke filter.

You should try to take care of your things. It's really not that hard with this product.

I don't think people are bashing these things on marble flooring or into concrete walls in order to complain that it chipped from doing so.

I own one and use it heavily. It is not chipping at all. These people are undoubtedly being sloppy, perhaps soaking it in a sink and then throwing metal utensils and dishes on top.

Or they're using metal tongs, etc.

Sch BS! I also thought it was the XL! Ordered 2,but just got off the phone with Woot and canceled the orders. Not a SLICKDEAL for the cheap version, especially if it's REFURBISHED!

Does this come with the temperature probe? If not can you buy it separately? Thanks!
No. And this one doesn't have a connection for a temperature probe.

BTW, beside the price, the big deal here is the other color options. Most stores only sell the silver color.

Your link is for this model, not the one with the thermometer.

Definitely go for that as it's brand new and Costco warranty is unbeatable. No brainer spending the extra $20-$30 for that. l actually have this model and the temperature probe is not all it's made out to be, imo. I'm not sure why it doesn't work as well as expected.
