Found this while I was on my way to pick up the Pitboss. Original price is 519 but the sticker said 50% off. Good luck and happy hunting! Link for reference. Discount is in store only.

Update, looks like someone found them for 155 off. So making this potentially 70% off however this hasn't reflected in all stores. The 259 price is still in place.

Agreed, people always roast me for telling them to restore and old weber genesis because the quality is gone from the new ones.
At this price point, if you want a new one, you're better off waiting for Lowe's to clearance out a broil king!
Broil king better than weber? 🤔

I hit 5 Targets this morning looking for this deal in the SE MI area. 4 had stock, but priced at $415 ($100 off sale). 1 store had it on clearance for $259. Unfortunately, all they had the display model... which I did wind up buying. And yes, $259 - 5% Red Card + tax. I'd just tell people looking to score this deal to plan on spending/wasting 1/2 day chasing stock at local stores... so YMMV. I also asked a couple employees why there's a price difference between stores and no one had an answer. Summer seasonal outdoor furniture was on sale for 50% at all locations, but only one included the grills.

Display model was fine; just a pain to load/transport. Need 2 people. For others in SE MI, you can skip:

Southfield, MI
Troy, MI
Sterling Heights, MI
Madison Heights, MI
Warren, MI
Got a display a couple years ago half off. Still working great. At least you don't have to put it together

I am on the same boat as you, my 8 yr old E310 is more sturdier than the new ones. That's why I hesitated. The old one still turns one with no problem.
good price, but one can pickup an older model for less on CL. the design of weber is solid, you don't really need a new to get a better performance.

Can confirm same deal for the North Frisco Store (TX) on Eldorado. Picked one up. Store display was still there.
I'm a couple miles from there. Will check it out, thanks!

Checked a few targets on Long Island, NY and the two I went two didn't have any in stock. The one in Levittown had a display model but they said they were not selling display models. The price that came up in this store was $155.89. highly YMMV deal and was eyeing this grill for a while, hope when September/October comes around a similar deal will come about

I did this deal a couple years ago. I can't remember how many Targets I went to. I'm sure I spent $50 on gas, but in the end, I found one and I'm quite pleased.

Check CL and FBM. I was shopping several years ago for a clearanced Weber Summit and they were just too expensive. I found a used one for $250 that needed wheels and cleaned up. Really nice unit. I will say the older Genesis and Summit grills heat up really quick, and can be had for $75 to $150 pretty consistently.
