For those that are having a mid-life crisis, but can't afford the actual car. LOL.
Also add people like me who have to make up for their shitty childhood and growing up ultra poor somehow. I am now an adult 8 year old with a bunch of money to blow... Take that dad... Wherever you are! 😂🤣
That's me XD 🤣🤣🤣

My bro just bought a brand new one, an actual one, so I'm quite familiar with the symptoms. I wish they had his model in Lego, so I could buy it, build it, and put a bumper sticker on it "mid life crisis - need help" - then gift it to him.

I'm in the middle of the build right now! It's stellar. Highly recommended. It's thrilling to see the sections come together. When I pulled the thin circle pieces out of the bag, it took me a moment to realize they are the brake discs! Functional rack and pinion steering too!

Hope these ship fast. I ordered the Aston Martin from Zavvi on May 29 and it only shipped a few days ago. Looks like at least 1 month to deliver now.
I've had much better experiences in the past with Zavvi though.
I ordered the Aston Martin too on May 28th, but that was a pre-order on their site. It was set to be available later in June, which is why I took long to ship. Mine shipped recently too. My other Zavvi order that was available took 17 days to arrive though, which is longer than all previous Lego orders I've made there.

it is only $149 directly from LEGO. where are they getting this $229 price?
Great set and a fun build. Went with the targa top version, but I've seen custom builds use both elements of the targa and the turbo to great effect. I'd recommend it for the price.
