This deal hasn't been this good in a while from Target. The last time was November 2020 with buy 1 get 1 20% off + 5% with RED CARD.
With RED CARD, it comes out to $42.75 (each).
This deal will not work with multiples at check-out; however, you can just repurchase again with the discount.
I use T-Mobile cards because they aren't taxed, and I don't suffer taxes when paying with debit/credit cards for my prepaid service online as long as it's refilled.
My plan is $25 for 5.5gbs, so I and my significant other always buy multiples of $50 and it last us quite a while when we buy $200 a time (4 months).

To answer your first question, there are definitely better plans available now in that price range. If you are looking to get the lowest price with out much data I would look at the tmobile Freedom to Connect plans. One has unlimited talk and text plus 2.5 GB of data for only $15 a month. 2.5 GB is fine for light stuff, just not a lot of video and music streaming.
They will also add 500MB (0.5 GB) to your plan each year you keep it, up until 2025.

If you want to use more data at your current price point, and you are a senior, they have a senior unlimited talk, text, and data plan starting at 27.50 per line with Autopay set up. But that is on the postpaid side of Tmobile.

If it was me in your shoes I would probably go with the $15 a month plan. If you do decide to switch plans Tmobile will be able to switch your same number over as well. If your current plan is postpaid, they will not like you switching to prepaid, you will need to be persistent and firm. 😃 They always will want to upsell you!
Hopefully that helps!

I couldn't find info on if that plan is prepaid or postpaid. If it is the former, yes. However if it the latter, then no.
Hope this helps.
That should hold us off till the next good deal.

Another way to get discounted refills for T-Mobile prepaid is on ebay, they can run 20-30% off, just find a seller with good reviews.
