Fun fact, you're wrong. They are called crisps because the FDA tries to protect the name of some common foods from similar but not the same products. Pringles are essentially powdered mashed potatoes that are made into a chip, they aren't fried slices of whole potato. The FDA later said they could be called chips on the condition it was marketed as 'Chips made from dehydrated potatoes', which is terrible for marketing so they went with crisps. The issue isn't about the the potato content but how the potato was prepared.

What's more fitting for your fun fact is the ice cream industry and how some brands are 'dairy desserts', because they don't have enough cream (milk fat) to count as ice cream.

Also the wings and wyngz and other names for boneless wings, and the latest debate is if Milk alternatives should be allowed to call their products Almond milk, soy milk, etc.

I suspect it's something beyond money. People will spend incalculable time for free on certain hobbies because those hobbies give them a buzz. Bargain hunting might be such a thing for some people. The mount of the savings may not be anywhere close to as important as the action itself.

When you pickup the items, ask them to remove the bag fee. There is an option after they scan your receipt. It will get credited back to the card. Some will let you keep the bag while others take it back but it can be refunded.
For in-store pickup orders, my local Walgreens uses plastic bag and put a very sticky label (with order# and customer name) on it. I'll see if they can remove the bag fee at time of checkout. They should; otherwise it's ridiculous for them charging me $0.30 bag fee for 3 Pringles cans

Fun fact: Pringles actually have to legally call themselves potato 'crisps' because they don't contain enough potato to call themselves potato 'chips'.

Why are potato chips on Slickdeals? No conscientious shopper should get excited over a few pennies saved on potato chips. Seriously even making minimum wage – is anyone's time really worth that little?

I tried ordering 1 each of different flavor 3 for $4 flavors and result was $3.38 with the promo and manufacturer coupon (no tax).
If I ordered 3 of one flavor of 3 for $4 then the total came out to the $2.70
I think I would be bored with three cans of the same flavor and not worth the extra 68 cents for the variety.
Thanks anyway op.

As for the moron who said above:

Clearly you and him doesn't equate to "everyone". Look how many upvotes this has, look at previous "food" posts and see how popular they were. Dumb and dumber = everyone I guess
Yeah like upvotes means anything. People on the internet just want an echo chamber. They dont like dissenting opinions. I love people who think opposite of the crowd. Gives life some perspective.

If I had separate flavors, the 3 for $4 sale doesn't apply. Am I doing something wrong or do I have to get 3 of the same flavor?
Yes, same here. I had to order 3 of the same flavor to get the offer

When I picked up my online order from Walgreens they said they "have" to charge the bag fee because they need something to put the items in and affix the label. I was like why don't you use a rubber band to bundle the item and secure the label underneath, they were speechless. They had to charge me for a paper bag when I was holding a tote bag in my hand. If I was in a bad mood I would've been petty and cancelled my order and bought the items in store just so I wouldn't get charge one bag fee (down from three when I originally placed the order through Walgreens app).
