Man, Asics really is dragging their feet in the ground with their heavy Gel stuff. The rest of the industry has pretty much completely moved on to more advanced foams that are lighter and more responsive.

Are these any good for running in the woods? I just moved to where there's no flat ground and I wanted to start running again.

Hey, this is exactly my problem, I tried Peg 37, react Miller, winflow 7 and I liked winflo because they are the most comfortable for walking. Peg and react were too tough in my opinion. I just hope there were better walking ahoes

I have Brooks, Sauconys, Hokas, and Asics gels. The Asics gels are easily the most comfortable. The only non-gel shoes that I find more comfortable are Ons, which will be my next pair.

My experience has been close to this ^^^. Although I find the Brooks to be on par, if not better than ASICS Gel.

Ironically I used Kayano's exclusively until I switched to the Ghost. The Kayano's, I always got true size, no issues. The Quantums run bigger, only thing I can relate this to is that they are all fabric.
