Any idea if it will also be $10 off in the warehouse? $39 was my warehouse normal price.

A lot of these deal alerts in my email no longer show pics which is kinda weird.

Anyways, I have a vornado... but why would I want one with the panel??? Literally seems like an extra way to market something that doesn't change anything. I guess it could somehow prevent it from cheating and pulling air from in front of itself...

But then that means THIS IS A NEW REVOLUTIONARY PROBLEM THAT HAS NEVER BEEN SOLVED BEFORE AND IT MAKES ALL THE DIFFERENCE BUY THIS NEW EFFICIENCY

I see a review on Costco stating it was $30 from "a year ago" after coupon in their warehouse, so there is a good chance.

I have one of these and it works really well (like most all Vornados). In fact my daughter was asking just last night if we could get another one for her room so perfect timing lol.

Looks like around Aug 2019, it was $30 in store: https://www.frugalhotspot.com/201...o-279-fan/

So maybe it will be in-store at $30 in about a month or so....

You replied to the wrong person, but thanks. I wasn't the one asking.

As far as the diameter the blades, they should be 10.5 inches based on the panel dimensions and based on Vornado's site for the 270 Large Panel model with the same panel dimensions. Blade dimension is not stated on Amazon's page either for the 279 (the T might be the Costco-sold-only model designator).
I think this is some must-have information for fans, so sharing it after my little bit of research.

Just called Costco (WA) and they said their system showed they do not have any available in their warehouse, at least in WA state.

Yes this was $29.99 at my local warehouse after $10 discount, there was only about 10 left (not sure if they were going to restock).

Be aware that this is different from previous years. This is the 279T with the tilt function. According to Vornado it has no user serviceable parts and cannot be opened to clean. The previous 279 non-tilt model did have a removeable front grill secured by a screw in the back that allowed for cleaning.

Beware that this fan has electronic touch controls and cannot be used with home automation (e.g., KASA). Once power is switched off and on, one has to physically press the "on" button on the fan to start it. Pressing "on" starts at the highest fan speed.

Thanks for providing this insight. This is a really important consideration for me, as when you can turn it on with home automation you can put things in places that are harder to otherwise access.

In general, it's a safe bet that something with a rotary switch will work, but with digital switches it is a coin toss. I wish they included this information as standard with other specifications.
