This is not even close to being a deal. It is the regular price and it has been for years.

Other than that, they are great lights that have a good range in luminosity and colors.

EDIT: Since the guy below me decided to lie and you are all giving me an unhelpful thumbs down, I am attaching a screenshot from the Amazon extension on Edge showing that this is not even close to being the cheapest it has ever been. Within the past 30 days, it has been $10 without the need for coupons. Add in coupons with that price and it has been way cheaper than this supposed "deal."

I have one but it is not bright enough for my living room, wish they had a brighter bulb, but it's still a good bulb and integrates fine with Alexa and I have it set up for Apple Home. All and all a good deal.

Thanks! I will look into the app to see how it works. I want to use these bulbs in common areas including the bathrooms. I hope to schedule them to change color temperature throughout the day, growing warmer as the day gets to evening. Then at late night, say after 11PM, I want the common areas to illuminate with a deep red or blue so as not to blind someone having a midnight snack or bathroom break.

I doubt the emitters can cover the ultra-violet spectrum. At its most violet, you might get SOME 'black light' effect but it won't be quite the same.

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07VLFF...UTF8&psc=1 I returned these too because they were dull. I got these 1300 lumens and they're much brighter. The app it uses isn't bad at all. I haven't connected it with Google yet because I'm busy with other things.

Do you need their dedicated app to control remotely or can it be done through the Apple Home app? I don't have Alexa setup at home so that's not an option.

Yes and no. They can be in the same house or room. But the Kasa app doesn't control Hue lamps and the Hue app doesn't control TP-link/Kasa lamps. Both can be turned on/off by Amazon Echo/alexa. I have not tried to change color with Alexa, so I don't know if that's possible with either.
