I'm having the complete opposite results as you. On my Samsung A71, I get better service with Tello than with Mint. And the speeds I'm getting with Mint are horrible. The T-Mobile tower I connect to is less than a mile away, and for some reason with Mint I can only get on Band 12 (4G LTE), while Tello connects to Band 71 (5G) each time. I switched to Mint by recommendations on here, and that was a huge mistake. I'm waiting for my 3 months to expire and I'm switching. Tello is still a lot slow than normal T-Mobile speeds, around 3 - 5Mb, but not 0.25Mb download speeds like I'm getting with Mint.

And before anyone chimes in, I've tried all 3 APN's and none of them made any difference.
Approximately. Based on previous stacksocial tello threads, you have 30 days to redeem the code from stacksocial on tello, and then another ~30 day grace period after the sim is mailed to actually activate your service.
I'm already on T-Mobile's network. Really wish I could get a deal like this for an MVNO on one of the other two as a backup for when I hit a dead zone. This is why the Sprint deal shouldn't have been allowed - reduced competition = reduced choice = fewer deals.

I got a previous stacksocial deal for Tello 6-month plan that ended on 5/16/2021. Then on 5/15, I ported the number to the 3-month Mint mobile plan. The mint mobile plan will end on 8/15. Can I get any Tello stacksocial deal again and port the same number back into Tello? How can I be considered as "new" customer? Should I use the same (old) Tello account, or should I start a new one? Same email address or a new one? What's the pros and cons? Thanks in advance for your inputs!

Is the StackSocial 12month 1G Tello service for $67.15 still live? Also any $10 referral link/bonus to signup StockSocial?

how do you even have GV without a cell? For me it wouldn't let me even get a GV number if not having a cell number to forward it to.
I used a friends to activate and now i just use it through the web browser or the app on my phone after removing friends #

Hello!

My annual plan is expiring.

I have been happy with Tello service and the annual plan.

I like the price I paid and the level of service.

I am price conscious and don't want to pay $10 plus tax each month to continue.

I almost never use data, but still want data (just in case).

I don't make a lot of calls or texts, but have been happy with unlimited and also international.

Any suggestions where to go when my annual plan expires?

I have an unlocked phone.

Thanks for reading this post!

Hello Mobile is $5/mo - unlimited talk and text, and 500MB of data.

Enjoy!

realog91, Thanks for your reply!

Regarding Hello Mobile:

In my original post, I should have mentioned I want a reliable provider to port my established phone number to.

I would be hesitant to port my established phone number to Hello.

Last year I was a Hello customer, briefly, before joining Tello.

I bought new service and a new phone from Hello.

At first, some service features did not work, although I could make calls.

Within the first month, Hello (unintentionally) completely disabled my phone and service.

Getting assistance from Hello was impossible, and hugely time consuming.

I had to dispute the credit card charge, also time consuming.

Luckily, I had not ported my established phone number to Hello.

I would be interested in other people's experiences porting in and out of Hello.

I've never had porting issues with Hello. I've done about 12 ports - doing another today.

That said, you could get unlimited talk and text, and 1GB of data @ $6.66/mo, paid quarterly, via FreedomPop Walmart plan.
