I'm having the complete opposite results as you. On my Samsung A71, I get better service with Tello than with Mint. And the speeds I'm getting with Mint are horrible. The T-Mobile tower I connect to is less than a mile away, and for some reason with Mint I can only get on Band 12 (4G LTE), while Tello connects to Band 71 (5G) each time. I switched to Mint by recommendations on here, and that was a huge mistake. I'm waiting for my 3 months to expire and I'm switching. Tello is still a lot slow than normal T-Mobile speeds, around 3 - 5Mb, but not 0.25Mb download speeds like I'm getting with Mint.

And before anyone chimes in, I've tried all 3 APN's and none of them made any difference.
Approximately. Based on previous stacksocial tello threads, you have 30 days to redeem the code from stacksocial on tello, and then another ~30 day grace period after the sim is mailed to actually activate your service.
I'm already on T-Mobile's network. Really wish I could get a deal like this for an MVNO on one of the other two as a backup for when I hit a dead zone. This is why the Sprint deal shouldn't have been allowed - reduced competition = reduced choice = fewer deals.

Amazing deal. Repped.

I may just switch from my Hello Mobile $5/mo plan for this plan with double the high speed data for less than $1 more per month.

Nice, per month not just 1GB for whole year.

This seems like a great price - I'm considering upgrading to this from my $60 500mb red pocket ebay plan, especially since they killed off their AT&T offering and their plan is T-Mobile only now.

OP, does this code expire on 6/30? Hoping to order on 7/1 so I can double dip with 5% cb from discover.

Oh wow, if only I knew this one day earlier I wouldn't have renewed for the month. Still a good deal though even if I just wasted $7. (because of the unlimited 2G, and it comes out less than 100min+1G for one year)

edit: oh I can wait 30 days to activate. Sounds good.

What happened after 1GB data is used for that month? Does it give low speed data after that or no data at all?
