QA Note: I tried to sign up on the linked page above for both of my Amex cards issued by Amex itself, but got this: "This page is intended only for holders of American Express Cards that are not issued by American Express. If you have an American Express Card that is issued by American Express or any of its subsidiaries, please visit your American Express online account page to view available offers for your Card."
So it seems it it may only be for Amex cards NOT directly issued by Amex itself, so apparently will should work on cards issued by their 3rd party partners such as one user mentioned Wells Fargo Propel Amex. Though of course users may have it on their cards otherwise if not just via the OP's link maybe.

I have 5 Amex card and max out all of them last year.
This year I got $5 off $10 (2x) on 1 card.
