It may be a nice tool, but my first reaction to a folding square is "what could possibly go wrong?"
Sort of like a telescoping pin punch...

I have to agree. One drop, one bump, put it in your packed tool bag/box, or using it frequently may cause it to have accuracy issues. Its weak point is the hinge, but that's also the benefit for portability.

I agree but repped anyway because it's a tool from Lowe's that I might could have used. Don't need and not going to buy but appreciate the post nonetheless.
