The only reason you'd downgrade is if you already own the lens in this combo so you'd have to sell off the lens anyway.
Street price used for the XF lens (this combo) is $300 while the XC lens (the downgrade) is $100
Price is okay, but I would rather get the XS10 that has IBIS.

If you know what you are looking for, you can get comparable cameras on the used market for much less. (XT30, XT3, X100V or X100F)

Feel free to DM me if you need additional help/guidance. The fujifilm subreddit is always very helpful: https://www.reddit.com/r/fujifilm/
Second, ecosystems, most R type lens in the canon ecosystem are generally more expensive than what you can buy in Fuji mounts, a big reason being the fact that R lens are full frame to match the full frame body and geared more towards pros. Canon does have a great native adapter so you can use most ef lens which will be just as affordable or even more so than some Fuji equivalents.

For my shooting style, I feel no big need to upgrade to any of Fuji's current camera offerings, however, if I didn't have the X-T30 and was looking to get a new camera, I'm not sure if it would make it onto my list of considerations.
It seems like the X-T30 has reached its end of life in terms of significant firmware updates, which means no improve AF that the X-T3 got and none of the newer film simulations the X-T4 and newer cameras have. I think the newer X-E4 would be something that I would consider over the X-T30 and if I was doing any sort of video work, I would look into the X-S10. Not saying that the X-T30 is bad or worse by any means, but it is an "older" camera in terms of updates and future firmware updates.
If you don't really care much about the improved AF and newer film simulations and really like the look and size of the X-T30, I think this is a good deal including the kit lens. Just know understand the trade-offs with Fuji's other offerings, and even what other camera companies can offer as well.
