Totally did this. I had been looking at the 4k transfers and not reading positive things. It also looked like they had the same audio (no Atmos/DTS:X) so I didn't see a point. Look forward to watching again. I don't think I have watched all of one or any of two in years - decades?

Does anyone know if iTunes upgrades to 4k for free if you redeem the codes through them? I know some codes are upgraded to 4k for free when you redeem the code through iTunes.

Okay, folks. Let's get this clear. Sony does NOT provide iTunes code for their Blu-ray releases. The code (for Ghostbusters) will redeem in Movies Anywhere for HD. While iTunes does upgrade if it's available in 4K for direct purchase or redemption directly in iTunes, the overwhelming number of codes that ship with Blu-rays cannot be redeemed in iTunes. Sony and Warner Bros. are two big studios that do NOT provide iTunes codes. Older Universal titles may have it but newer titles do not. Paramount & Lionsgate (the non-MA supporters) may have it depending on titles.

NOPE!

I always use this as a guide to what redeems in iTunes and what doesn't - for now (may change later, but), Ghostbusters digital does NOT redeem for 4K unless purchased directly thru iTunes.
