They are ok. Once you get used to them, they are a bit meh but definitely beats having to fill up real tiki torches.
And why? Because when do we try to fill up tiki torches? When we're 3 sheets on the patio.

Bought these the last time they were on SlickDeals. 2 of them quit working in about a month. I opened them up and water had made it into the battery area and rusted everything up. The other two are still working and they have been in use for around 10 months.

If you buy these open them up and silicone all around the sealing element and I think they will last at least a couple of years.

It's getting more and more common for water getting into the battery/electronic/even the solar itself.

Anyway, no more expensive solar stuff for me. Stick with the $1 solar light at dollar store. Cheap to replace.

Yeah, even Prime has become unreliable on quick delivery. Seems the only benefit to Prime these days is free shipping and Prime Video. I definitely order enough through Amazon to justify the cost. Though wish it was as fast as it used to be.

who still uses NI-MH battery?

I thought all have switched to LI-ion or LIPO battery.

I bought a bunch on last sale too. Agree. But the batteries are not good either. Nowadays, after about 6 months or so, they light up for a couple of hours max and go out after a full summer day of charging. Even as new, they never lasted for more than 5 hrs max after full solar exposure.

I have these, they are not great. It's a single small led strip that just flickers. These are way more realistic https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07ZCDDP15/
