They need to stop this lowering the price! Going to see if I can price match. If not, will have to return and re-order as I got mine from the initial deal.

Wow Dell is killing it with these prices. I might still pay $100 more for the Alienware M15 r5 with same specs but better build quality and more spacious keyboard (but no numpad)

115 watts version. Just look at the size. If it is heavier than 5 lbs, it's usually the max-p version. It's the skinny light one that's usually max-q.

Would you get this laptop or wait and try to get the Lenovo Legion 5 Pro from in the in-store Walmart deal (for $1,399)? Probably the most intensive game I plan to play is Warzone and maybe BF 2042 and I'm not in a rush to buy either.

Purchased the same at $1224.99 about a month ago. About a week ago the price was reduced to $1199.99 and I made a price match. Now I called dell and try to do price adjustment for it but they told me they only do one adjustment at most.

Do you have a link for that Alienware model? I'm not seeing any that are only $100 more than this. Thanks!

The SSD is also half the size. Is that actually worth it for the better build quality? I am not familiar with either model.

This is a sweet laptop but I have to wonder if with the small screen what benefit you have to the high res capabilities with the 3060? For example, on my 1660ti equipped laptop with a 16" screen I can't even see a difference between 1440/1080p gaming and 4k resolution in games like Forza Horizon. I guess it's just that newer is better and has more longevity and of course if you're not running an RTX card yet, you're missing out on ray tracing...

I think I answered my own question.
