Track is about $85 for Makita version, but better buy is the Powertec set of 2 55" guide rails for $122 on Amazon:

I do use this way more than my table saw now. Table saw still has it's uses for smaller items, but for sheet goods this is way easier.

This is bad advice. Both have their intended uses and are complimentary to each other. Try using a sled with a track saw.

I'm also a big fan of the table saw sled. It's great for accurate, repeatable cuts. Can't beat a track saw for ripping plywood though...especially in a small shop by yourself.

I'd love one of those, too. Based on my usage, though, I can't justify the extra few hundred dollars. I also use my track saw mostly inside the shop, so I still need to have a dust collection hose connected. That takes away most of the convenience factor of the cordless feature.

I was so happy when I got the notification but this is the corded version. Good deal if you don't mind a cord.

If you don't need the cordless convenience, yeah, it seems like it. I had been waiting on the cordless version but this is too good to pass up. I doubt I'll ever need this beyond the reach of an extension cord and I'm not on the Makita battery system so I'd be adding another set of chargers. Thanks to the OP!
