Is the grain alcohol in this harmful to skin? How does it compare to the Thayers Witch Hazel astringent?

This stuff is unnecessary. It's just drying. Just use a good cleanser + moisturizer

I wouldn't want to rub grain alcohol into my skin for cleansing and toning. Maybe if I was trying to mildly disinfect something, but this will be much more drying than Thayer's IMO.

It works well for me. I use Luna to clean my face, then some blackhead remover tool to clean my pores, soak a mask with this toner and aloe gel, after two weeks my pores are visibly smaller. One thing I really hate is the smell of the toner. It's nasty smell, I had to spray some Thayers rose toner on top of it to mask the smell tho. But other than that it works good.
