I think the agent is new or full of bs. he may not want to do the extra work. Try different costco around and let them know that you have flex pay.

I was finally able to get the line added. I dont have Flex pay but there was some other issue with their system. The agent called to get the line added and that worked.

The TMO website does indeed indicate that the payment is the same for either 2 or 3 lines, but the current promotion is 50% off new family lines. Can someone chime in on how the math worked in the past? It appears to vary depending how many lines you're adding.

They've adjusted their pricing calculator, again, since my post you quoted. . .

EDIT: yes they've changed their wording from "50% off lines 3,4,5". . .to " with 3rd line free and 4th & 5th line 50% off.". . .and 6-8

In the past the pricing calculator would show $120 for 2 lines Magenta or 3 lines Magenta when the 3rd line free was active (which was most always). . .so it was $120 for 3 Magenta, and +$20 for each line 4+.

Confirmed it is 120 for 3 lines. Account is showing the correct monthly charge.

What number did you call for this second escalation? I got an email from wireless advocates for the $300 and tried to reply to that email for my other $100 rebate but nothing!

Did you specifically request a rebate check? I might do that for the $100 one to try and get it faster. Then I have to worry about USPS who has been crap about delivering my mail these days!

I didn't call. All escalations were done through online chat. I didn't ask for a check. I was expecting a costco cash card but got a check instead. Hope that helps.

Thanks m3. Guess I will be doing another chat escalation since I haven't gotten a response at all on my other rebate.
