Save extra 15$ worth of stuff by filing for P&G rebate if you're planning on buying Tide, Gain, Bounce, Bounty, Downy, etc.

Getting 15$ gc for a 50$ purchase is 30%, but getting 15 +15 = 30$ gc for a 65$ purchase is 46%.

Buy 65$ worth of stuff, because the 15$ gc would proportionately reduce the price of the items in the invoice down to 50$. Buy 68$ worth of things to begin with if you have redcard 5% discount. Your net total minus 15$ gc amount should be 50$ or more.

https://www.pggoodeveryday.com/rebates/

Rebate terms:

P&G Summer Olympics Rebate
Buy $50 of select P&G products from May 30th 2021 to August 31st, 2021 and receive a $15 prepaid card or $20 to receive a $5 prepaid card. $50/$20 purchase total applies to the price paid after any coupon or discount has been applied. Trial and travel sizes are excluded. If purchase amount is less than $50/20 after a coupon or discount is applied, you will not qualify.

Qualifying Brands: Tide, Gain, Bounce, Downy, Bounty, Olay, H&S, Aussie, Pantene, Old Spice, Always, Tampax, Gillette, Venus, Secret, Ivory, Safeguard and Crest toothpaste.

Requests must be submitted online by September 14, 2021.

Online and store pick-up purchases are eligible for this offer. Please make sure to include your ship or pick-up confirmation with your submission.

Hope it helps.
About time these deals are back!
Right now, the buy 3, get 10$ gc works better for anything you want to buy with sub-11$ price. The lesser the price below 11$ break even point, the better the % discount is as compared to this deal.

Hope it helps.

Since you can't apply the Target gift card on this order (has to be used on future order), I'm pretty sure you only have to order $50 to qualify?

Are you talking about the case when you're using a $ off $$ coupon - e.g. $5 off $5, $5 of $20, or $10 off $50 - at time of purchase (which would proportionately reduce the price of the items in the invoice)?

Target bills you weird for these gift card promotions.
Let's say you bought $105 items and are eligible for a $20 gift card, Target bills you 2 transactions, one for $85 and another for $20, for the gift card. I think he/she meant from that perspective to spend $65 inorder to be eligible for the P&G rebate..

You're right - I forgot the stupid math Target applies to it's receipts.

Always wonder if this type of deal is worth it over going to Costco for the same necessities. Of course, one would need to have a Costco membership. For those that do have one, it seems like Costco would still win out, although I could be wrong. I also usually buy a lot of Kirkland brand stuff though, so I'm sure that influences my opinion.

Charmin Ultra Strong 18 Mega Rolls for $17.89 each is the best of the TP deals. Grabbing 3 packs gets you an average of $.021/sq ft. Not quite stock up worthy but borderline and enough for me to grab 6 packs worth since we're dangerously low after the past 15 months.

All the paper towel deals are trash from my quick number crunching, even after the $15 GC. Significantly cheaper at Costco and the like.

So, are you saying with a $55 on-line purchase for example, Target would bill you separately, one transaction for $35 and one for $20?

Yes. I noticed this after purchasing diapers at Target online multiple times under $20 or $30 gift card for $100 purchase promotions.
I'm not sure about instore transactions though.

I had posted this earlier this week when a different promo was going on and I highlighted that if you're planning on buying items priced 11$ each or lesser, then that promo would have been better to do. Target resets promos on Sunday so today onwards, this new promo Buy 50$, Get 15$ gc is active.

I didn't get you. But the way this works is, you buy 65$ worth of stuff that gets discounted by 15$ to make way for a 15$ gc in your cart to keep the total same as earlier, that is, 65$. In your receipt, you'd see that so that should you wish to return the stuff you bought, it would only give you 50$ back because technically you "bought" the non-refundable 15$ gc.

Hope it helps.

It is not stupid. It is to protect them from people getting the gc but then returning the stuff for full price, in turn keeping the gc "for free".
