update, ordered three cards. all cards came within three minutes. have since then applied all three to amazon account balance. have already gotten confirmation that all three cards have been applied to my account.
Needed to spend $500 to wrap up a credit card promo, so this was a nice money maker for me.

no use same email id with any working card. if card complains start a new session. checkout as guest, no need to register. ordered 3 with different accounts and receipent names. paid by insurance with 10% discount!
