Over the past couple months, I found ASUS routers at a couple thrift stores: RT-AC86U for $29, an RT-AC68U native for $19, and a TM-AC1900 for $2 (updated to RT-AC68U). They've all joined my earlier TM-AC1900 (RT-AC68U) and now have ASUS AiMesh firmware. Very easy and solid.
