I've had the 10w 5v USB one for 3 days and it seems like I got a defective one. First 2 days were kinda cloudy so I thought maybe that's why it didn't charge, but today is sunny/clear but still no charge.
Submitted a ticket via their website for RMA and they responded quickly, but need to record and send a video of myself retrying all my troubleshooting steps like trying different cables and devices. Kinda a PITA... but as long as I can get a working one I guess it's worth it.
That said, the 10w 12v trickle charger I got from a different order seems to be working well for now.
Got my my 2 power banks and 10 watt solar panel today. Did anyone get the blue pro model instead of the black regular one mine looks a little different than the picture and the box says pro on it can't really find anything about the difference between the 2.
Also got a 10 plus today. Does this thing work in low light? It's been raining all afternoon and not getting any power to the phone. May need to wait until tomorrow
I tested mine with a USB meter.
With San Francisco, CA sun, not 100% full brightness because SF often has some fog,
I was able to get 1.3 amps @ 5V
For a full 10W, we'd expect to see 2 amps.
I'll try again in the future in brighter sun to see if I can get 2 amps.
10w model
Consistently get about 5w even with direct sunlight overhead. Sometimes I get 6w but that is about max I ever got. Sunlight is about as good as can be. I expected 70% + efficiency. Little disappointed here.
