I don't know what moron said that. This is simply a scanner to scan your check engine light and find out the error so you can fix it.

I don't know how someone can think that this can trick the car into believing that it doesn't have a problem. If a car has an issue with a sensor, then it has an issue with a sensor and this DOES NOT trick the car into believing anything.

But it looks like someone tricked you into believing that they know how to work on cars. Please let someone else work on your car for you!

Got one last time and so far tried in civic and enclave and worked without any issues.
Needed to utilize one of trackfone androids I used as music player instead of my iPhone but it worked ok few times I tried to check various sensors and cleared some codes as well (had to fix the issues for them not to appear again though).

can endorse these work great with the Torque app. I use these to clear CEL codes on my like new 23 yo toyota before I take it to our tx yearly inspection.

This is a great price if it's not a fake. I used to be an Android user w/ Torque Pro, is there an equivalent with iPhone as I switched recently because my new-ish car only has Carplay.

One thing I got for this is an obd extension with switch. This would allow me to turn it off because I leave my car sitting for awhile and it won't drain the battery

The Zus reader works fine with my iPhone.

They seem to have a freemium model. They just gave me the device and try to get me to pay for more stuff when I use the app.

I just use it for the basic functionality and it hasn't been a problem.

Typically works good for a basic scanner but had an issue resetting some codes like tire tps sensors. Ended up getting the bluedriver scanner to replace this and 1000x better.
