These have a fairly unique sound character - the subwoofer kinda has an air cannon sound to it, and the satellites are a bit heavy on the treble. That said, I've always been a fan of them. I'd buy another set but I'm not sure what I'd do with it....

Not very powerful, compared to my old Boston Acoustics, but sounds great at low volume. Surprisingly good bass and mid with very clean treble. Good separations.
SoundSticks subwoofer gain knob is on the back of the subwoofer, really dumb design.
Klipsch 2.1 sound much better for $70 anyway.
It is all about the look, especially when you wanna show off your desktop, some folks can spend more than $200 on an Elekstube, which is basically a digital clock with RGB light. Are you going to show off your desktop? Will you capture your desktop when creating a YouTube video? Personally, I like the design which many folks also gave a WOW factor.

Yep. Apparently this is gen 3 but what exactly have they changed here? The design doesn't leave much to the imagination.
He probably likes Realistic.
So you want people to buy speakers from mouse company....
Harman Kardon and Klipsch are way better than any logitech at this price point.

Klispch kardon ans logitech are all the speakers for non audiophile trashcan. You can buy any and it will prove you cannot afford mid or highend that is amplified. I use cheap logitech like 20 bux one and i use KEF speakers for music. You are a noob thinking thise brands u listed are good speakers. Get good soon.

For most people they are looking for simple 2.0 or 2.1 setup. No Dac, No pre-amp, They will not be listing to FLAC or Tidal masters. They just want to listen some music off of Youtube. and play some game.
For $100 set up that does not take up tons of space on their dorm room room or apartment,
Klipsch 2.1 ofine Nor everyone want to build up a stack. If you are talking about KEF LS or some set up that takes up too much room you are talking to the wrong audience.
What do you recommend Who owns 13" laptop who just want to plug in one 3.5 mm jack and be done with around $100?
Kanto YU6 And AudioEngine A2+ is already out of the budget.
Klipsch Promedia is good under $100. I think recently they had a deal around $70 on SD.
Don't get snobby with audio if you can not suggest anything better under $100. KEF... Give me a break. Even their cheap Q150 is like $400.
