I have one of these. I really like them compared to the regular ones I have. Display is great from any angle and they seem to connect from further distance. I do wish they had regular batteries though.

Yes, but they are not cheap.

They have the H5103, H5179, and H5100 which is smaller profile but no display. Both on sale and there is a 10% off coupon at Govee.

I live in an older apartment with through-wall PTAC heaters/ACs that do not have a temperature display. I use these as standalone thermometers to actually figure out where to set the "COLD - HOT" dials. And to have any early warning for when for when to refill the humidifier besides getting a scratchy throat and dry hands.

Haven't experimented with any of the connectivity features yet, since I don't need yet another bluetooth device paired/connected to my phone at all times. I wanted long battery life and an e-ink display, and was willing to go without wifi for it. I'll think through some automation use cases eventually.

Bought the two pack three months ago for $31. I would for sure buy them at this price.

I use a Switchbot Hub 2 for this. It sends notifications if the temp or humidity gets outside my range and works with Android assistant and Alexa.
